COMPANY HISTORY
Incorporated on January 18th, 2023, Power Telco Business Limited (PTBL) began operations in June 2024 as Electricity Company of Ghana's wholly owned subsidiary, with a mandate to commercialize its fiber optic and other assets.
PTBL leverages ECG's extensive fiber optic infrastructure, built on Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) technology, to provide comprehensive network services. Our strategic position within ECG's operational framework enables us to deliver reliable, high-performance connectivity solutions across ECG's operational area.
As a subsidiary of ECG, we combine decades of utility expertise with cutting-edge telecommunications technology to serve both ECG's internal needs and external commercial clients, driving sustainable growth and innovation in Ghana's digital infrastructure landscape.
